Kleiner Ausflug ins "Grüne"

Hier bin ich wieder! Endlich ;) Und mitgebracht habe ich ein kleines Schokoladenauto, das seine Runden durch den Park dreht, natürlich ganz ohne zu hohe Abgaswerte (und das obwohl es ein VW Käfer ist! ;) ).

Finally I'm back! :) And I've got some great photos from a little chocolate car which drove through the parc but of course without to high emissions  (though it is a VW beetle! ;) ).

Auf unserem Weg trafen wir auf ein paar super-süße Eichhörnchen und mussten natürlich stehen bleiben und ein wenig Zeit mit ihnen verbringen. Dabei stellte sich heraus, dass sogar diese kleinen Tierchen Lollipops (und vor allem denen aus Schokolade) einfach nicht widerstehen können.

On our way we met some absolutely adorable squirrels and of course we had to stop and spend some time with them. Then we realised that even these little animals can't resist Lollipops (especially the chocolate ones).

Vielleicht erinnert sich der ein oder andere an meinen letzten Post über Metropolen (wenn nicht, hier ist der Link: New York ).
Heute möchte ich euch alle Lollipops aus den USA zeigen, die ich besitze. 

Maybe some of you remember my last post about metropolises (if not here's the link New York ). Today I want to show you all my lollipops from the USA. 

Die zwei links im Bild sind bereits aus dem Metropolen-Post bekannt. Sie stammen beide aus New York City. Leider ist der blaue mit dem Skorpion zurzeit einer meiner "Sorgenkinder". Er scheint zu schmelzen, obwohl er in einem kühlen Raum gelagert wird und nicht unter direkter Sonneneinstrahlung leidet. :(

The two on the left side are already known from my metropolises post. Both are from New York City. Unfortunately the blue one with the scorpion is one of my "problem children" at the moment. It seems like he is melting though he is stored in a cool room and without any direct insolation. :(

Der Totenkopf ist aus Washington, D. C. und der Astro Pop aus Columbus (Ohio). Eine Freundin hat sie mir aus ihrem Auslandsjahr mitgebracht. Die Lollis aus New York sind ebenfalls von ihr, allerdings von einer früheren Urlaubsreise. :)
Ich denke, über Washington, D. C. muss ich nicht viel sagen, dort steht das Weiße Haus. Zu Columbus vielleicht nur so viel: es ist die Hauptstadt des Bundesstaates Ohio und hat eine deutsche Partnerstadt nämlich Dresden (nebenbei gesagt auch eine sehr schöne Stadt). ;)
War einer von euch schon mal in New York City, Washington, D. C. oder Columbus? Oder generell in den USA?

The skull is from Washington, D. C. and the Astro Pop from Columbus, Ohio. A good friend of mine brought them to me from her exchange year. The lollipops from New York are from an earlier trip she made. :)
I think I don't have to tell a lot about Washingto D. C. The White House is there. Columbus is the capital of the federal state Ohio and has a german twin town: Dresden (very pretty city too, by the way). :)
Has anyone of you ever been to New York City, Washington D. C. or Columbus? Or to the USA in general?

sondern auch Lollipops! Im Moment gibt es nichts, dass es mit den Minions nicht gibt. Man kommt einfach nicht um diese Kerlchen herum. Ein Leben ohne die Minions? Unvorstellbar!

Die Sommerferien kommen näher, die Festivalsaison beginnt und die Badestrände werden wieder voll. Genau dahin zieht es auch diesen Lolli! Eine Abkühlung am Wasser kann ja gar nicht schaden und deswegen hinterlässt er seine Abdrücke im Sand.

The summer holidays get nearer, the festival season starts and (nearly) everybody wants to go to the beach. This is exactly where this lollipop wants to go to too! A cooling can't be that bad, right? And this is why it makes its impressions.

Endlich ist der Sommer da! Zumindest mehr oder weniger. Urlaub, Sonne, Eis und leckere Früchte rufen. Mindestens genauso lecker wie die echten Früchte sehen diese Lollis aus. Wie sie allerdings schmecken, werde ich wohl nie rauskriegen, da ich meine Lutscher nur sammle und nicht esse. Normalerweise nicht. ;)

Freaky Fruits

Summer's finally here! Well, at least more or less. Holidays, sun, ice cream and delicious fruits are calling. These lollipops do look as good as real fruits. But I'll never know if they taste as good as the original ones too because I just collect lollipops. I don't eat them. Usually not ;)

By the way which fruits do you like the most?

In einigen Ländern haben die Schüler jetzt auch schon Sommerferien. Bei mir dauert es allerdings noch eine Weile und wir haben in Deutschland "nur" sechs Wochen Sommerferien. Wie ist es bei euch?

In some countries the students already are on summer break. I still have to wait for my holidays and we have got "just" six weeks of  summer holidays here in Germany.
Do you still have to wait too? And how long are your holidays?

Ein kleiner Gruß an alle Mütter da draußen auch von mir und meinen Lollis.
Passend zu diesem Anlass habe ich einen herzförmigen Lolli ausgesucht, den ich vor einigen Jahren geschenkt bekommen habe.
Die Liebe zwischen Mutter und Kind ist bedingungslos und ich hoffe, dass an jede Mutter heute gedacht wurde! :)

This is a greeting to all the mothers out there!
Because of the mother's day I chose a heart-shaped lollipop which I got a few years ago.
A mother's love for her child is unconditionally and I hope that every child made his/her mother smile today. :)

Der zweite Lutscher, den ich ausgesucht habe, zeigt die Abkürzung HDL und ich denke, wir wissen alle, was das heißt... ;)
Und weil ich das im englischen Teil auch gefragt habe: Welche Sprachen sprecht ihr so? :)

The second one I chose shows the abbreviation "HDL" it stands for "Hab dich lieb" which means in English "I love you".
I have to explain that there is a difference between "Hab dich lieb" and "Ich liebe dich" in German. Though you can both translate it with "I love you". This is weird to me because "Ich liebe dich" is something really meaningful. You don't say this to friends or family. It means being deeply in love with someone, so you usually just say it to your boyfriend/girlfriend (well at least you should just say it to him or her ;) ).
To all the other ones you say "Hab dich lieb". So if you learn German (or just want to say something in German, lol) be careful with using "Ich liebe dich". :)

Am Sonntag habe ich einen kleinen Fotoausflug gemacht und natürlich mussten auch einige Lollis mit...

On Sunday I took a few photos with some Lollipops. It was a really nice trip... 

Ein Seemann muss immer in der Nähe des Wasser sein und wenn er dann auf hoher See ist, hilft ihm der Leuchtturm, wieder nach hause zu finden.

Ja - auch an Lollis geht die Gothic-Szene nicht vorbei!

Diese kleine Spinne ist vom M'era Luna, einem der größten Gothic Festivals in Deutschland. Es findet jährlich statt und lockt immer über 20.000 Besucher!

Und wenn dann solche Lollipops bei rum kommen, habe auch ich (als "Nicht-Gothic-Szenen-Mitglied") etwas davon.
 Dankeschön dafür und allen viel Spaß, die dieses Jahr das Festival besuchen! :)

Yes, even sweets get involved into the goth subculture!

 This little spider is from the M'era Luna which is one of the biggest gothic events in Germany. It takes place every year and attracts over 20,000 visitors.

And this lollipop shows how I have the rewards for this event (even though I don't belong to the goth subculture).

So thanks for that and I wish everybody who visits the festival this year a lot of fun! :)

Der Frühling kommt...

Der Frühling kommt...

Tatsächlich scheint sich das Wetter langsam dem Frühling anzupassen. Bei uns waren es heute über 20 Grad und die Sonne lachte auch fröhlich (zumindest am Anfang). Danach hat es geregnet und es roch endlich mal wieder richtig gut draußen. Das ist sowas, was ich im Winter vermisse. Ansonsten mag ich die weiße Jahreszeit eigentlich gerne (wenn sie denn weiß ist, lol). Wie ist das Wetter bei euch?
Passend dazu hat sich auch ein Lollipop zwischen die Pflanzen geschlichen, freut sich auf die nächsten Sonnenstrahlen und wünscht euch ein schönes Wochenende!

Spring is coming...

It seems like the weather finally matches the spring. Today we had sunshine and over 20 degrees (Celsius). Later there was some rain. I love how it smells after a shower in summer or spring. This is something I do miss in winter though I love the white season too (if it is white, lol). What’s the weather like at yours?
According to this a Lollipop hides between the plants, is looking forward to the next rays of sunshine and wishes you a nice weekend!

Lollis gibt es in verschiedenen Farben, Formen, Größen und Geschmacksrichtungen, so dass eine Einteilung in Kategorien nicht einfach ist. Um eine gewisse Übersicht zu behalten, habe ich mich zunächst für diese vier unteren Kategorien entschieden.

Keep calm and love London...
Obwohl ich noch nie dort war, ist London für mich eine der interessantesten Städte auf der Welt und wenn ich die Lutscher sehe, kann ich einfach nicht ruhig bleiben! I just can't keep calm!

Drei coole Lollipops aus meiner Sammlung sind tatsächlich aus der Stadt der Liebe! Und dass, obwohl ich selbst noch nie dort war. Den ersten der drei habe ich bereits 2011 von einem guten Kumpel geschenkt bekommen, der zweite folgte 2012 und der dritte erst letztes Jahr. Dieser schnuckelige Lollipop ist aus dem Disneyland Paris! Ich hatte Fotos gesehen, dass es dort Läden gibt, die Süßigkeiten und somit auch Lutscher verkaufen. Eine Freundin hat ihn mir daraufhin mitgebracht.

La tour Eiffel - der Eiffelturm. Natürlich kann dieser Lolli nur von der wahrscheinlich bekanntesten Sehenswürdigkeit der Stadt sein! Ganz besonders ist die tolle Form, an der man sofort erkennt, woher er ist. Ich kann mich erinnern, dass ich mich wirklich gefreut habe, als ich ihn von meinen Freunden bekommen habe.

Wovon ich hier überhaupt spreche? Na von Lollipops!

Seit 10 Jahren sammele ich die bunten, süßen Dinger schon und will dies nun gerne mit euch teilen. Aktuell besitze ich 166 Stück aus allen möglichen Ländern. Dank Freunden und Familie wächst meine Sammlung regelmäßig und es kommen immer neue Länder dazu!

In diesem Blog möchte ich euch meine Schätze und somit meine Liebe zu Lollipops zeigen und näherbringen.
